The terms, in plain words

How booking works

Short version: you can book any week of the year, your money is never lost, and everything below is written down so nobody ever has to argue about it on a boat.

Dates

Any week of the year

We take bookings for any week of the year. Your dates and route are confirmed on a twenty-minute consultation call: a yes or a no, never a maybe.

Reserving & paying

Three steps, no surprises

  • At acceptanceA reservation holds your dates. It is never cash-refunded and never lost: if plans change, it converts to a twelve-month transferable credit toward any future trip with us.
  • At menu approval50% of your charter total, once you've seen and approved your menu.
  • Seven days outThe final 50%, cleared funds, and the kitchen turns its full attention to your week.

Card or bank transfer — same price either way. One all-in quote covers everything: every meal, every delivery, wherever your route goes. No meters running.

If plans change

Your money stays yours

  • 30+ days out100% back — the reservation converts to credit, everything else returns.
  • 15–29 days out50% back, and the reservation converts to credit.
  • Inside 14 daysOne free date move to any week we have capacity — or 50% back. Never zero — we would rather move your week than keep your money.
  • If we cancelEverything back, including the reservation — plus priority rebooking on the dates you choose next.
  • Beyond anyone's controlIf something bigger than both of us intervenes, everything comes back — or we move the trip. Your call, not ours.

“Cancellation governs before the charter starts; the guarantee governs once it has.”

Once you're sailing

Our guarantee, in writing

Word for word
“A dish you don't love, we replace with your next delivery — just tell us that evening, no reasons needed. A delivery we miss, we make right by your next meal, or the food that didn't arrive is free. And if after the first night you know this isn't for you, we stop — every day you haven't eaten becomes credit that never expires and moves to anyone you name. That's the whole of it: your money is never lost and never argued over. It stays yours to sail with.”
That paragraph is the entire guarantee. No windows to count, no caps to decode, no forms. Tell us the same evening; it's handled by your next delivery.
Optional, at booking

The Return Ticket

One sentence
“Add The Return Ticket when you book, and if you step off after night one, the credit the guarantee owes you comes home as cash instead.”

The Return Ticket is 8% of your charter invoice, added at booking only. It converts the night-one exit credit, and only that — the dish and delivery promises above stay in food, and the dates-and-changes terms are their own section.

Most guests never use it; they buy it so they never have to think about it.
